This morning, on the final day of his Golden Jubilee visit to Portugal, Mawlana Hazar Imam met with the President of the Sciences Academy of Lisbon. Later, leaders and members of the Jamat bid farewell to Mawlana Hazar Imam as he departed Lisbon.
United Kingdom visit

Leaders of the UK Jamat gathered at the London Heliport to bid an emotional farewell to Mawlana Hazar Imam, as his Golden Jubilee visit to the United Kingdom drew to a close.
Bangladesh visit
19 – 22 May 2008
In Bangladesh, Mawlana Hazar Imam granted a Golden Jubilee Darbar to the Jamat in Dhaka. Hazar Imam also presided over the foundation of the Aga Khan Academy and the Ismaili Jamatkhana and Centre Dhaka.
India visit
12 – 19 May 2008
Mawlana Hazar Imam's Golden Jubilee visit to India included stops in Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat. In addition to granting Darbars to the Jamat, Hazar Imam met with government leaders and visited AKDN institutions and projects in various parts of the country.
