Canada A overcame Tanzania B at traditional volleyball in two games (21-12, 21-7) at Jaffery Sports Club. The atmosphere was superb as partisan fans turned out for both teams. The standard of play was very high but the Tanzanian team had practiced on smaller courts and their net play was found wanting by the very efficient Canadian side. In the other match-up of the day, Tanzania A clinched a win over Pakistan.
