Dietary magnesium helps maintain a healthy heart

Magnesium is essential for good health and particularly important for keeping the heart beating at a steady rhythm. Researchers at Harvard University conducted a 26 year study among women to find out if it protects the heart from sudden rhythm failures. They discovered that women, like men, are 34 per cent less likely to die from sudden heart rhythm failures if they eat a sufficient amount of magnesium.
Teach children to enjoy eating vegetables and fruit with positive persistence

Few children are born with a liking for every vegetable, but researchers wondered if infants could learn to enjoy a specific vegetable, and how many tastes it would take. Their studies show that while it may take more than 10 attempts to get the child to try something new, with encouragement children can get used to flavours, textures and consistency of food.
