The Ismaili Centre in London is a religious, social and cultural meeting place for the Ismaili Muslim community in the United Kingdom. Opened in 1985, the Centre is the first religious and cultural centre to be specially designed and built for the Ismaili community in the West.

Located in South Kensington, the Ismaili Centre occupies a prominent island site on Cromwell Road, facing the Victoria and Albert Museum on one of the major thoroughfares leading out of London.

 

International Women’s Day brings women from around the world to the Ismaili Centre, London

Women from diverse backgrounds came together to celebrate, identify their strengths and hear about inspirational women. The event was organised by the Women’s Activities Portfolio of the Ismaili Council for the United Kingdom, and was the third consecutive time that the Ismaili community marked the occasion in the UK.

Her talk will focus on how Canada’s experience of evolving into a welcoming, pluralistic, post-modern society in the 21st Century can inform the creation of a new global citizenry.

Launch of Nutrition Centre applauded by UK health community

Health professionals gathered at the Ismaili Centre, London for the launch of a new website that emphasises the value of preserving traditional dishes. The Ismaili Nutrition Centre will help families factor health and nutrition into the preparation of their daily meals.

From Kyoto to Copenhagen: The next step in the fight against climate change
